Loading a design

How to get a downloaded Trampler into your game.

Back up your Walkers folder first.

This works, but you're editing your own save folder — a copy of it takes seconds and means a mistake costs you nothing.

  1. 1. Close the game

SAND reads these files at startup, and writes them when you save a design — editing while it runs risks having your change overwritten.

  2. 2. Back up your designs

Copy the whole folder somewhere safe first. This is the only step that is not reversible if skipped.

  3. 3. Open the Walkers folder

Paste this into the address bar of Windows Explorer:

    %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Hologryph\Sand\Data\Walkers

The game calls a Trampler a "Walker" internally, which is why the folder and the .wbt extension are named that way.

  4. 4. Copy the file in and rename it

Every design's filename is a unique ID. Each design page shows a freshly generated one — copy that and use it as the filename. Any unique ID works; the name is not stored inside the file, so there is nothing to clash with.

  5. 5. Start the game

The design appears alongside your own. Want to keep an original and tinker with a copy? Paste the file twice under two different IDs — the game treats them as separate designs.

Worth knowing

  • Unlocks don't transfer. A design using a Royal chassis and late-tier weapons won't be buildable until you've researched those nodes yourself.
  • Patches can invalidate designs. An Early Access update once auto-sold blueprints that broke a new structural rule. Each design records the version it was built in.
  • SAND runs BattlEye. TrampList only hosts files — it never touches the game process or its install folder. Copying a file into your own save folder is all that's involved, and it's at your own risk.
