- Trampler
- A gigantic walking machine — the player’s vehicle, base, storage and weapon, all at once.
- Chassis
- The frame a Trampler is built on. Defines the grid. Plural is chassis.
- Chassis tier
- The grade of a chassis, ascending: Small, Middling, Great, Royal.
- Compartment
- A module placed in the chassis grid — the general term for a buildable piece.
- Blueprint
- A saved Trampler design — the central object TrampList displays.
- Cell
- One unit of grid capacity on a chassis.
- Build cost
- What assembling a Trampler costs: Crowns, Mechanical Parts, Pneumatic Parts, Computing Modules. Paid every build.
- Crowns
- The game’s primary currency — spent on both building Tramplers and tech-tree research, the only resource common to the two.
- Maneuverability
- One of the five build stats, alongside energy efficiency, weight, stability and top speed.
- Crew size vs. crew count
- crewSize is who a design is built for (1–6, author’s choice). The crew compartment count is how many crew compartments the build actually contains — independent figures.
- Reactor
- Powers the engine and every mounted system. Destroying it destroys the Trampler.
- Engine
- A maneuver compartment that offsets weight and improves handling — the game sometimes calls it a "Motor" in its own compartment names (e.g. "Maneuver Engine").
- Fly Bridge
- The steering compartment. Called a Pilot Bridge on some models.
- Captain's Compartment
- Bed plus main control console — the respawn point.
- Cannon / Shotgun Cannon / Autocannon
- The Trampler-mounted turret families, all from the Kaiser’s Friends tree.
- Sophie
- The fallen desert planet the game is set on. Named in the title.
